The Gladiator Sports Summer Classic Basketball League will begin on June 3, 2023 and continue through the league's PLAYOFFS and CHAMPIONSHIP. The league ends on Championship Day, August 19, 2023.
MISSION
To provide a safe, friendly and spiritual environment for youth to learn and enhance their skills in basketball while increasing communication skills, sense of responsibility, trust and respect.
The Gladiator Sports Summer Classic Basketball League will be played at:

Gladiator Sports Summer Classic Basketball League games are scheduled for Saturday play and feature teams from the Tri State area.
Each team is allowed a roster of up to twelve (12) players, and up to two (2) coaches. Each team plays a minimum of eight (10) games, including playoffs.
All Gladiator Sports Summer Classic Basketball League games will be officiated by certified, experienced referees. At the conclusion of the Gladiator Sports Summer Classic Basketball League, statuesque trophy awards will be presented to the players of the Championship teams.
To participate in the Gladiator Sports Summer Classic Basketball League,
application and league fee must be submitted no later than May 27, 2023.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
** All payments must be made by cash, checks or money order.
** Do not mail cash.
** Make checks and money orders payable to: Gladiator Sports, Inc.
** Note: Your signature on the Gladiator Sports Summer Classic Basketball League application qualifies this agreement as a binding contract between you (the signee, representative of your team / organization) and Gladiator Sports, Inc.
Player eligibility
- Biddy Division (10U) players will be considered ineligible if s/he reaches 11th birthday before the first scheduled game.
- Midget Division (12U) players will be considered ineligible if s/he reaches 13th birthday before the first scheduled game
- Junior Division (14U) players will be considered ineligible if s/he reaches 15th birthday before the first scheduled game.
- Varsity Division (16U) players will be considered ineligible if s/he reaches 17th birthday before the first scheduled game.
- Senior Division (18U) players will be considered ineligible if s/he reaches 19th birthday before the first scheduled game.
- Player's age will be confirmed by recent school or state issued ID with legible date of birth on ID / Birth Certificate.
- Any team found to be using ineligible players will forfeit all games in which said player participates and is also subject to ejection from the league.
Rosters
- Each team is allowed up to twelve (12) players and two (2) coaches on their official roster.
- Rosters will be frozen at the start of the second game.
Game Day Conduct
- Teams must wear team uniforms (tops and bottoms).
- Teams must be ready to play at the scheduled game time. The forfeit clock will begin at starting time. For every 5 minutes after forfeit clock starts, the opposing team will be awarded 5 points. 20 minutes after game start time, the game will be declared a forfeit.
- 48 hour notice is required for schedule change requests
- Players are expected to treat their teammates, coaches, opponents, officials, spectators and Gladiator staff with respect. No foul language is permitted.
- Players are expected to greet (slap hands with) opposing players at the beginning and end of each game. Poor sportsmanship will not be tolerated.
- Only players and coaches are allowed to sit on the bench during the game.
Rules
- All games will be two (2) halves.
- Each half will run fourteen (14) minutes running time for Biddy and Midget divisions and sixteen (16) minutes running time for Junior, Varsity and Senior divisions.
- Time clock will run until the last minute (1:00) of each half.
- The clock will stop on timeouts, injuries, and referee's discretion.
- Each team will receive five (4) timeouts per game: two full timeouts and two thirty (30) second timeouts.
- In the event of a tie at the end of regulation, there will be an additional two (2) minute overtime period. Time stops on dead balls during final minute of each overtime period. In the event of a third overtime period, SUDDEN DEATH RULE applies. The 1st team to score 2 points (FG or 2 free throws) wins the contest.

Individuals - $75.00 per player
