Tony Afflick

Tony loves to laugh and have a good time. This is evident in almost every job he has held, whether he was working as a youth counselor or working with a large financial institution.  Tony's major strength is his ability to help and teach others. Children seem to especially benefit from his guidance and assistance.

In 1995, Tony took his love of basketball and his passion for teaching and joined longtime friend, Jude Baptiste at a local community center in coaching kids.  Tony started volunteering his services as an assistant coach for a Saturday youth program.  Tony coached several teams to championships:

• 2001 MIA Champions 12 year old division
• 2001 MIA Champions 15 year old division
• 2002 YMCA Champions 12 year old division
• 2003 MIA Champions 10 year old division

Tony has been honored by the Catholic Youth Organization with the "CYO VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD" for his community service.  From 1998 - 2002,  Tony Afflick performed program coordination duties at a local community center on a voluntary basis.   During that time he has organized the following:

• Out of State field trips
• Classroom Sessions
• Basketball tournaments
• Team Uniform purchases
• Player Registration
• A Multi-State Community Center Network that includes Maryland, Massachusetts, Philadelphia, New Jersey.

Tony, along with several other dedicated people, decided to take their destinies into their own hands. Thus, the dream of Gladiator Sports Inc. was born. Tony Afflick now serves as Vice President of Gladiator Sports Inc. He is joined by President Jude Baptiste and fellow coaches Robert Paulin and Keith Walton.
