In October 1993, with urging of Howard Marcus, Jeannette was part of the staff that established the groundwork for the present day Gladiator Sports program. She was responsible for the overall administration duties. Accounting, attendance and overall record keeping all fell under Jeannette. If you needed a record or to know where the money was being spend, she was the person to talk to. Jeannette also organized events and volunteered to chaperone various field trips.

In 1998, Jeannette moved on to devote more time to family and concentrate on other activities within the community. Jeannette states, "I have some great memories of the children in the program and have seen a lot of them grow up throughout the years. It was an honor to devote my time in making a difference for somebody's child in the community."
