Stevland McKoyStevland was born and raised in the Bronx. He became a fan of the game as a teenager on the Bronx playgrounds. He fine tuned the fundamentals of his game at Harlem's A. Philip Randolph High School and UNC Charlotte. Teammates love Steve because of his high basketball IQ and selflessness on the court. Opponents fear him because of his commitment to defense and willingness to never give up on a play. Steve joined Gladiators in 2008 and hopes to pass on these same qualities to the young Gladiators that he coaches. In addition to his love of basketball, Steve has a passion for education and technology. He has worked for the past several years implementing and managing several afterschool programs. Steve is also the man behind the redesign of the new and improved Gladiators website. |
