Obituary
Coray Dwayne Kidd was born February 05, 1981 to LaTanya Wilson and Robert Sturdivant of White Plains, NY. God called him home on June 21, 2006.
Coray was a graduate of Woodlands High School. He was applying for his license to be an armored guard. He will be remembered for his admiration of sports, especially baseball and football. His love for baseball led him to coach little league and women's softball. He also played semi-pro football in Connecticut and White Plains.
He joined First Community Baptist Church and was baptized on Dec. 5th, 1995 by Rev. Wiley Robinson. Coray was known as one of the "Heavy Weights" during his participation with the church renovations. He was always willing to lend a hand.
He leaves to cherish his daugther Laylah Kidd, Bronx N.Y. He is survived by his mother, LaTanya Wilson; father, Robert Sturdivant; sister, Tami of Syracuse, N.Y.; brothers, Jeremy of Syracuse and Jaylon of Nebraska; stepfather, Gary Wilson of White Plains; grandmothers, Lena Mae Diggs of North Carolina and Theresa Brandon of White Plains; and grandfather, Rotell Williams of White Plains.
Coray leaves to mourns a host of aunts, uncles, nephews and a niece, cousins and many, many friends. Coray will always be remembered for the way he touched the hearts and lives of everyone he knew.
Coray was only with Gladiator Sports for a short time, but what a time we had while he was here. Coray worked with the younger kids and they loved him. Coray loved to teach and this was quite evident in every classroom session he taught. He was a truly gifted individual that Gladiator Sports will surely miss. Our friend and partner, may you rest in peace.
