Gladiator Sports Special Events
2002 - 2003 Gladiator Season

Gladiators 1st Official Field Trip
March 4, 2003

On March 4th, 2003, Gladiator Sports gathered with invited special guests and family at 135th Street in Harlem and headed for the Most Famous Arena in the world, Madison Square Garden. Gladiator Sports, along with the Chinatown YMCA Youth Center headed by Dexter Adams, sat down at the Play by Play Restuarant for a buffet style dinner. The menu consisted of salad, lasagna, chicken fingers, and beverages.

After dinner, pictures were taken. The youth from both programs headed to the garden floor, where they were allowed to watch the New York Knicks practice and do their shoot arounds. By game time, both programs reported to their designated seats to watch the Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers do battle. Some kids were, lucky enough to be allowed to sit in the front row. There, they were able to get autographs from the likes of rapper Jay-Z, former NY Knicks great Walt Frazier, and Broadcaster Marv Albert.

Gladiator Sports is very appreciative. A big heart felt "thank you" goes out to Dexter Adams and NY Knicks. Gladiator Sports looks forward to next year and hopes that they will again be allowed to particpate in the NY Knicks Lifestyle Basketball Game and Dinner.
